I want to know not only the current time zone but also the time zone set by the event creator. It would be helpful to know which time zone the event is held in and what time it corresponds to in other places.

We don't plan on working on this. Conversions are done to your local timezone in the UI, so you always know what time an event will occur.
If an event is meant for a specific time zone, it should indicate that in the event title or description.
