When opening the large menu special characters(-=[@#_ and non english characters) sometimes:tm: appears floating below the menu, where the entries would be if the menu was fully visible.

scrolling moves the characters until on screen, but scrolling them back off correctly hides them.

This is spurious unfortunately, it doesn't seem to happen consistently, but has happened a good number of times.

However it seems like it may be linked to the left/right scrolling of the live event
