Notifications from requests/invites appear for a tiny moment before going away.
When the notifications appear, they don't even get enough time on the hud to fully pop in, so you just see a flash of a dim line before it goes away

When you get a notification pop-up on your HUD, occasionally the animation of it opening will only play for a single frame or so before immediately closing.

I believe this can be triggered by any notification, but it reproduced itself when someone was getting votekicked.
