Stations are the only way we can lock players to a position in the world. Locally, stations appear normal, but to remote players, you will not be locked to the station GameObject, but move out of sync with the station. Network IK is syncing positions for the player instead. This "breaks" vehicles, avatar stations, and advanced techniques using stations.

Tested in the Not Bad Cars world:
