[SDK 3.8.1-beta.3] Add Blend Mode option for Rim Lighting on Toon Standard
available in future release
Davilos
Right now, rim lighting on the Toon Standard shader seems to be purely additive. White is bright, black doesn’t render. I propose a drop down that allows us to select what blend mode we’d like for the outline. Two blend modes that would be incredibly useful would be of course multiplicative blending for darker rim lights, but also overlay blending so that we can accentuate and amplify the existing albedo textures by using a color close to white. This kind of behavior would be in line with other toon shaders that have an ‘albedo tint’ slider for their rim light coloration.

Non-additive rimlight modes are slightly out of scope for now, but an albedo tint can be added easily. If this task is set to "Complete", it's for Albedo Tint. Feel free to open a new feature request for the other part if that does not satisfy your use case.

_tau_ Albedo tint would be so incredibly useful and mainly what I was looking for with this request, thank you so much
