Restore legacy scrollwheel behavior for object distance adjustment on desktop
Summary Desktop users need the mouse wheel to adjust held object distance (Z-axis) as it worked in the legacy system. Third-person camera zoom should not override this essential object manipulation feature. Current Behavior: In the current desktop implementation, mouse wheel scroll is locked to third-person camera zoom. When holding an object (pen, prop, etc.), scrolling the wheel no longer moves the object forward/backward along the Z-axis. Legacy Behavior (Expected): When holding an object, mouse wheel scroll should adjust the object's distance from the user (Z-axis translation). This was the original behavior before the third-person view update and was critical for precise object placement. Why This Matters: Object distance adjustment is used constantly: drawing, photography, prop placement, and world interaction all require fine Z-axis control. Third-person camera zoom is rarely needed: many desktop users don't use third-person view, or only toggle it occasionally for screenshots. The current design prioritizes an infrequent feature over a daily workflow tool, significantly reducing desktop usability. Suggested Solutions: Restore legacy behavior: When holding an object, scrollwheel adjusts object distance (Z-axis). When not holding anything, scrollwheel adjusts third-person camera (if enabled). Context-sensitive priority: Object manipulation takes priority over camera controls when an object is in hand. Optional toggle: Add a setting in Graphics or Controls to choose between "legacy object scroll" and "camera zoom priority."
