I would like a feature to allow reduced pricing based on previous purchases. EX: If a customer buys an avatar from me, and I later add a summer version, I can enable customers who bought the original version a reduced price for the new summer version. This is partially circumvented with bundles, but I want options for adding more content to an existing avatar without continuously piling more onto a single avatar, tanking the performance, adding more opportunities for bugs, and widening the gap between that PC and Quest users get/see. I envision this as a sort of Post-release bundling. This has multiple benefits for creators and users. Creator pros: Allows creators to add additional content to older avatars, keeping them fresh and interesting. Makes it easier to keep PC/Quest parity, preventing creators from having to strip features from avatars to fit Quest limits Allows creators to add more options and customization with less chance for bugs. User pros: Gives a more fair price for Quest users. Right now creators are pricing paced on what PC users get, then stripping away feature for quest users. The prices Quest user pay was not calculated with them in mind in the current landscape. Gives users the opportunity to get more out of their favorite avatars without having to re-purchase things they already own. Encourages creators to add very differently styles accessories, clothes, and props to avatars, allowing for more creative expression on the user's side. Encourages avatar swaps instead of using one avatar with many toggles/sliders at the cost of performance. This will help all users in an instance.
